Roles and Responsibilities

Role Summary: Managing the Investment operations, reporting, compliance, and audit management.
Key Focus areas: Ensuring accurate & timely accounting & settlement of equity and debt investments made. Approval of Investment proposals in agreement with Insurance Act, IRDA Regulations and Internal norms Independent deal confirmation from the Counter party Review and monitoring of Investments Limit monitoring, valuation, computation, validation, and declaration of NAV for the various funds Ensuring that all the guidelines and agreements are adhered to with respect to Internal as well as Statutes – Insurance Act and IRDA Implementation and review of Asset & Liability matching Review of Investment Policy Guidelines Calculations of performance of various Funds against Benchmark All Investment related reporting to IRDA Exception reporting to Top Management and the joint venture partner Adequate control over various reconciliation between Investment, Policy administration, Finance, and actuarial records. Enhancing and maintaining strong control as well documentation of process and activities implementing system enhancements to support regulatory & business dynamics Coordinating and ensuring all requirements of the Concurrent, IRMS, IFC, Internal & Statutory Auditors are met Ensuring Internal, Statutory and Regulatory compliance at all times.
